My Mom was here and bought them each a lego set while there were at school. Instead of just handing them over though, we had a little fun. It actually turned out to be a lot of fun!
We gave them an Easter egg with the first clue in the house and off they went. Part of the fun was that Ryker could read all the clues.
Kya concentrating as Ryker reads her the next clue.
Kya found hers, now Ryker can move as fast as he wants. He had to just read and not help too much while Kya did the first few. She may have held her own because some of the clues were geared more toward her and Ryker might not have known the answer, but I didn't want him running off and her just chasing him the whole time. He followed her, then read her the clue, but once she found hers, he was on the MOVE!
He even jumped on his bike at one point because he knew he had to go to the bus stop. Mom and I were laughing hysterically by this point and couldn't keep up.
Good thing my camera has a good zoom. He read this clue and busted it back to the yard.
We just waited, laughing, until he came back.
Last clue: "Your favorite lookout"
There's your Lego's kid. Good luck getting them down. Haha.
They now want Seth to get bigger tires on his truck.
Saint Patrick's Day parade in Bellingham
Of course there were lots of floats, but I just took pictures of a few of their favorites. Loved the Irish Wolfhounds.
