Archiving Random Pictures

I have a lot of pictures that others sent to me, that I always meant to put on the blog, but never got around to it. I'm archiving all my stuff onto my external hard drive and decided just to put them all in one post.
Here's how you swaddle a 2 year old.

Grandma and Grandpa Stewart's anniversary party.

Kya helping to feed the boys.

Philip and I did this to Carol's office for her birthday.

I did not expect any payback.  I guess I should have known better.

BBQ

Ryker and Pace heading to the fort.

That hat was Kya's idea....just so everyone is clear.  She dressed herself from an early age.  We could care less what she wears as long as she is dressed, but she will look back at this picture and wonder how I let her wear that hat that way.

Stewart Siblings

This is from the day we went sledding at Hall's.  Ryker loved this horse.  Even looking at it years later, I get the Clippity Clop song in my head!  Why do those things always have to make noise!?

Easter a few years ago

Security team with their walkie talkies.

Kya in her dress before she took it off and threw a fit.

Securing the perimeter.

And.....she's pantsless.   I changed her diaper, she wanted the dress off, but wouldn't put a shirt on.  Tights and a coat was her Easter attire choice.

Ryker feeding the Werder's goat.

This is how you open wide!

Crafting

Uh oh, they have scissors.

Fish painting at the Smelt Derby.

Fund raiser for Special Olympics

Santa Train

Robbins party at Geoff and Mary's.  Riding the golf cart with the Grandma's.

Miss Kya

This one, Carrie sent me.  It is Kara, me, and her at my Grandma Marj's.  She had some great stuff to dress up in.  I'm surprised none of us are wearing a fur coat.

Ryker, Kya, and Kaci Jo having lunch at Ty and Nikki's.

We like to leave funny little surprises at Randy's.  He posted this picture on his FB page.  I had traced Ryker using chalk, but after seeing this, I thought it might have been a little inappropriate.

Crabs, Crabs, Crabs..........

February Fun

Swimming at the Casino

Trying to blow water at Aidan

Anacortes Parks and Rec basketball.  Ryker is in the second row at the far end in a gray shirt.

Last Blue Friday of the season.  We are headed off to school and the carrots are Ryker's "car snack."

As you all know, the Seahawks pounded the Broncos in the Super Bowl.  Ryker made a bet with Ty and wanted him to get a Mohawk if the Seahawks won.  Lucky for Ty, he didn't take the bet and instead bet Ryker $5.

You know what is still better than a Super Bowl win to a 3 and 5 year old though?
This furry little guy!
Meet Wilson, the neighbor's puppy!  Our neighbor's can no longer go out in there yard without these two running over to see the puppy.

Dear Dad, Also Known as "Ramblings by Kya"

A couple weeks ago, Kya asked me to take down a letter for her to send to Seth in Westport.  I got my computer so I could type it because my handwriting can never keep up with her.  As follows, word for word by Kya except for the stuff in parenthesis which I added later.
Dear Dad,
Please come back.  I miss you.  You've been gone too long.  (I think it has been about 3 days now) I love you.  Are you still at the dock or are you getting crabs?  I miss you.  I made you a letter.  You love me.  (she's now busted into song)  I love you.  Do you love me? You love me.  I love you.  You love me.  I miss you.  You miss me.  That's all I got for you.  You love me.  You write me some mail.  I'll write you back.  I put some glue around it.  I'll glue pink.  I'll sing my song til you love me.  You love me.  You love me back.  Everywhere I hear you dad til you found me in the place and loved me.  I covered up you and I'll tuck you in warm and snugly not on the boat.  Then Mommy can take me to my bed so you can get rest from fishing.  I love you.  I need more glue stick.  My glue stick is all stuck and ready to take to the mail.  I need my pencil skinned out so it gets sharpened. (Her pencil was dull and I guess she refers to the sharpening as "skinned out") If I mix my pencil with this brown it gets pencil.  (The oven timer went off and I had to cut her off because she can go on forever so that's a wrap on her letter/song to Dad.)

You heard it here Seth.  Time to come home so she can tuck you in warm and snugly, NOT ON THE BOAT!  Oh, but they are planning a boat sleepover when you get back so maybe tucking you in on the boat is okay as long as she is in the bunk beside you.
