First trip to the Medora Musical and it did not disappoint! As a matter of fact, they liked it waaaaay more than I thought they would. Ryker wants to get season tickets next year and go every Wednesday and Sunday (kids nights) and he wants to do the backstage tour. Who would have thought?
They got to go on stage during the show and sing the Star Spangled Banner with the cast.
They really liked it when it got dark and they lit up the hillside.
The next day we hit up all our favorite tourist spots in Medora.
We rolled through the Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
It was hot and had already been a long day. The bison were hiding from us and there was a lot of road construction slowing down the drive. Needless to say, Kya was not thrilled.
There were quite a few horses, but she complained that they were too far away. She needed a nap bad!
When this guy falls asleep, it means we've been going too hard for too long.
There they are, but they were pretty far away.
Ryker woke up on our way out of the park wondering when we were going to see the bison. Maybe next year if you can stay awake long enough.
