Ryker trying to get Kya to crawl. She is only interested in rolling.
Puttin' on a show for Kya.
A slow song that required him to sit down "like Grandpa Randy." I would like to see Grandpa Randy stand up and rock out like Ryker!
He was really into "fixing" his afro with clips pony tail holders for a while.
Sweet hair buddy. These are a few months old. He has sported two new do's since these were taken. I'll catch up someday.
Kya is much more of a splasher than even Ryker was.
Mount Vernon Friends of the Library sale before the Tulip Street Fair. We got great loot, but next time I'm getting a sitter so I can be a little more selective. I was just tossing them in and Ryker kept informing me that we were taking too many books. You would think that he would know that you can never have too many books after spending a month at my Mom's, reading books everyday, and not even scratching the surface of her kids book collection.
This is what happens when you are refuse to eat or nap and play outside all day. At the end of the day, I forced him to come in and tried to coax him into eating something by letting him sit on the floor on a blanket and have a picnic.
I didn't think I would ever let Ryker start using the computer this young, but I heard about this great website and since we don't have TV, I figured I'd let him do it while I was getting dinner ready one night. It turned out to be an awesome learning website and he can navigate it himself. I even downloaded the ABC app onto my itouch for him to use on the toilet while he was potty training. He didn't like to stay in the bathroom at daycare long enough to finish the job, but with the help of the itouch and his Highlights High Five magazine to keep him entertained, he has no problem hanging out on the toilet.
Peek a boo
Finally, two birds with one stone!
Should have had the bath after dinner.
