Lil' Camper

Ryker insisted on not leaving for Montana until after summer football camp and basketball camp at the high school.  He loved every minute of both camps.  The high school kids and coaching staff did a wonderful job.

Pee Wee's vs. JP in tug of war.  There was about 30 of them and one of him.  He had tied the rope around his waist and he slipped and they just kept dragging him until one of the coaches finally stopped them.  Everyone was dying laughing.   Luckily some of his friends got it on video so he will never live it down. Haha  The kids loved him.  He was so fun and such a good sport.

First one to the bleachers for the closing talk and picture.  Yes, he sprinted.

Last day of basketball camp, ball signing.

Superman finally has a place to change!

Lucky for neighbors with ponds!

Loves riding in the Bronco.

The flower stand is back in business for the summer!

Cowboy day at school.  This little buckaroo wore one of Grandma's rodeo queen buckles.  I warned him that he might get teased for wearing a girls buckle.  He said matter of factly, "I don't care.  I'll tell them how awesome my Grandma is.  She won about 100 buckles!"  Okay so maybe not quite that many, but she does have a lot and yes, she was quite the cowgirl.

Kya was copying Ryker's outfits for San Juan Montessori.  They may need to implement a dress up week next year.

Tara and Cody's wedding

All packed up and ready to roll!

Waiting for the ferry to take us to Orcus Island

He's never met a tree he didn't need to get to the top of.

Beach on Orcas.

The wrote T & C, May 14 in the sand with a heart and then the pretended to kiss.  Too funny to see kids re-enact a wedding!

Ready for rehearsal.

Found myself a slice of Montana....

Kya opening her new necklace from Tara.

Rehearsal dinner

Kya doesn't know her own strength.  Her hugs knock people over sometimes.  Perhaps Tara was a little tipsy though.  Haha

Our amazing deck overlooking the main street of town.  We didn't miss a thing!

At the tower on top of Mount Constitution.

A man really wanted to take our picture.  All 4 of the ones he took had his finger in front of the lens!

These are photos taken by the professional, Dawndra Budd.

Kya was hamming it up the night of the rehearsal so she had tons of pictures taken of her.
Highlight of the night for the kids:  The amazing food, especially the beef made by Chef Chad and crew.

Wedding day!

She said she felt like a star with everyone watching her.  It was pretty obvious that she was enjoying herself...she did a bit of showboating, including a big twirl as her finale!

Fresh off the boat.

Waiting for the bride and groom.

Waiting for the cake!
