We did some scouting for November while we were there. We saw this big guy almost every time we drove the road to Lester's. It became a game to see who could spot him first. He was often behind the same big rock bedded down if we went at dusk. The kids found his roaming habits very interesting.

If it could be done, Kya would have done it. She was terrible, then she would just laugh and laugh. We were going about 5mph and Ryker buckled up in the back seat she was such a bad driver. Haha

Kid's night at the Musical so they got to go on stage. They always hold hands so they don't get separated walking down and back to their seats in the amphitheater because there are so many kids. Ryker is always the one that starts it because he doesn't want Kya to get lost. Such a good big bro!
Once again, one of the nights we were at the Musical, so was Sharon with the grandkids. Seems like we are always on the same schedule. This year, we were sitting right behind them. The girl in the bibs is Ericka's youngest so the kids know her from the pool and around Wibaux. It's so fun for them to see all the friends they've made each time we go. They look forward to it more and more each year.
The kid's loved the Chicago Boy's jumping routine. They were quite the act.

After meeting Kinley at Fort Peck, the kids are really interested in finding ways to do things without their arms. They couldn't stop talking about how amazing it is going to be to watch her grow.
Too much camping.....couldn't stay up until dinner. At least we got her in the shower before she fell asleep!
Begger kids and hay bales. Ryker and Kya are on cloud nine. There's always plenty of friends to go around for everyone!
Ryker's in the orange and Kya in the pink. All the older kids got down and ran back to the house and Coy stayed to help Kya down. Soooo sweet. They are days apart in age.

Ryker went farming with Darin and Colten one day. He got to ride in the truck to unload at the Beach Elevator too. He loved it. I'm so lucky to have people in my life that will take them out to experience things that I can't take them to do on my own!
Kya took a ride in the big rig when we went to pick up the boys.
I'd been telling the kids about making willow reed whistles for 2 summers but I kept forgetting to do it with them. I finally remembered but it was too late in the season so the bark wouldn't slip off the willow quite right. They got the idea though and I did get one to look right, it just didn't whistle well. Anyway, we had lots of fun making them into other things.
Colten and Kya made some pretty crafty things too, but by the time I took the pictures, Colten had headed to 4-H- and Kya was in the shower.
