Happy Birthday Cosmos!

Cosmos turned 9 today. He started his celebrating a little early though. I had to yell at him to shut up at 5am. He never barks at night. He must have known that today was his day and he wanted everyone up to enjoy it.

The good ol' days for Cosmos, when my attention all belonged to him.  Now he has to share and it's been hard on the ol' fella.

Time to hit the Barber Shop

Ryker's 'before' picture...he's totally excited, you just can't tell.

Having a little fun before it's all gone.

Not only did Chloe give him his first haircut, but she gave him his first sucker too...he was a drooly mess!

Checking himself out

Looks good, thanks Chloe!

Dad's turn

Ryker was feeling a little left out, so he joined in on his Dad's haircut too.

Ryker's Baptism

Ryker was baptized at St. Peter's in Wibaux on Thanksgiving day.

Ryker being Ryker

This is what I came home to the other night.  Just wait until we get our appliances for our new house.  Those boxes will be put to good use!

Trick or Treat?

Pace and Ryker at the Halloween party at the Blanchard Community Center.

Pumpkin he painted at the Harvest Party a couple weeks ago.

Relaxin' with his peeps.

Ryker had a wellness exam today.  They confirmed what we had been suspecting.  He's still big.  He was 97th percentile for head size (big brain on that kid), 97th for weight (29.5lbs), and 90th for height (32.5 inches).  Maybe it's all the bananas he eats.  He'd have one for all three meals if we let him.

He likes to share, but then he wants another one.

Loves his rocking chair.  Thanks Doug and Joyce!

He's not down with the high chairs anymore.  He prefers to sit at the table in his booster seat.

Here's proof that he got some presents for his birthday even though we didn't buy him anything.  I've been getting a lot of flack for that.  In my defense, he got lots of presents from other people, he has tons of toys, and we have a small house.

The Great Outdoorsman

Ryker would spend all day outside if he could.  He brings us his shoes each morning before it is even light out.

Giving Cosmos a scratch.

Poking sticks at Cosmos.

The great escape

Once he cleared the fence.....

He was off.  Really, buddy, five acres and I still have to chase you down the road?

"Are you looking at me, tree?"

Yep, no one to my right....

No one to my left....

What can I do to this tree?  Aahh yes, poke it with a stick like I do everything else.

Hee Hee, sticks are so much FUN.

Long Day, Good Night.
