Keaton, Kase, Kara, Grandma Patti and Jackie have finally arrived. First stop, the zoo!
Keaton is not a bird fan yet.
Kase found them much more interesting. He isn't old enough to find it weird to have birds on your head yet.
Crazy Grandma!
Poor Keaton!
Somebody save me!
Campfire and smore' roasting.
Of course we had to take them to one of our favorite places, the Rhodes River Ranch.
It doesn't get much cuter than a short cowboy in a big hat.
It's amazing how well trained these horses are.
The horse whisperer and Dale Offerman.
The hammock is at max capacity.
Keaton wanted to rock it, but of course it came back and hit him in the face because he pushed it and followed after it. What goes up, must come down buddy.
And now the big punks are going to try to dump Grandma....
And now they are going to try to crush Grandma....
Grandma is starting to ask herself why she wanted to come see these punks.....
Now Ryker is trying to put her in a Half Nelson.....
Meanwhile Keaton moves in for the wedgy.....
Oh good, she found the only non abusive one in the bunch before she got hurt. That big one is still suspiciously lurking around though....
We took in the Tulip Festival. Keaton was a little tired and mad that his mom was in the car with sleeping Kase. We'll just pretend he's smiling. He did enjoy smelling flowers and running through the mud.
"No Ryker, out of the picture."
Sneak back in behind Kya, just don't touch him. Haha, didn't matter, I couldn't get a smile anyway.
Come on angry little elf, just give us one smile and we'll let you go wake up your brother....
He couldn't quite straddle all the puddles so he ended up pretty wet but at least he enjoyed that part.
I'm sooooo tired. Where's my Mommy?!
Snowgoose Produce!
Waiting for our ferry
Where are Kara and Kase, you may ask? That's right, sleeping in the car again.
Crazy man on the ferry!
Lopez Island
I'll just take another quick snooze until one of these kids screams and wakes me up...
Feeding the bum lamb at Valerie and Johns.
They all loved it, but Keaton kept following it with the empty bottle trying to make it keep eating. We needed to go back for another feeding.
Zip line!
They even had a little guy seat.
John taking Keaton up to the starting place.
We had a fun day on Lopez. Played at the beach, had ice cream, walked around the village, had lunch with JP, Val and Ava, and visited the homes of both Val and Marie.
Storvik Park
Running from a tent can be treacherous.
Familiarizing himself with the vehicle.
Out of the way lady, we're backing out of here!
Up and down the lane...
Seriously Kya! Keaton is clean and you have tomato soup all over your face!
Cleaning the rocks out of the tent after Ryker and Kya got made at him for throwing a bunch in. He made a face like "what, you don't want rocks in your tent?" Haha, it's so hard to be the littlest guy. He picked them all up, one at a time and put them back where he got them.
Planting some flowers.
They had him put a little water in and as soon as they left, he picked up that pitcher, dumped in the rest and wanted more water. I totally saw that coming. Little kids are so predictable and funny.....especially when they aren't yours.
Story time with Ryker.
Kase in Kya's old hat playing with kitchen utensils. We don't have many little guy toys.
Launching the rockets they put together.
Hanging at the neighbors pond, playing with the remote controlled boat.
Everybody had to have a turn carrying the little man around!
Seriously, a whisk today? Where's my slotted spoon?!
Story of his trip.....drug around until he passes out wherever he is. I'm sure he was happy to finally get home to his own bed and routine.
