Yep, back on the road to good ol' Bobcat Country for a week.
Cosmos had a nice bed, but he preferred the suitcase. By the way, it is the old guy's 12th birthday today. We shared a beer and a scratch after the kids went to bed. Actually, we didn't really share either. I would never give my dog alcohol and I'm not as into the scratching as he is. There was a couple big hugs though and of course a toast to many more (even though I had a dream right before this trip in August that he didn't make it back with me and had to be buried at Lester's....I have issues). Happy Birthday buddy!

Ryker's shorts were getting in the way so he took them off and just went in his underwear. Kya insisted she have hers off too. Problem was, it made the slide much faster and she about flew out of the pool. Lesson learned: Not only should you not do everything your brother does, but your pants provide a little traction on the slide and prevent your mother from taking pictures like this in the future little lady. Now get your naked butt up that climbing wall!

Yep, my kids learned about population density this summer. Where can you find a splash park all to yourself on a 90+ day? MONTANA!
Rolled into Bozeman....hit up Bogert Park and the pool.
Right outside Grandma's hotel window was another pool. There was a lot of this action going on each morning until it opened.
We met up with the Morasko's since we missed them on our first trip through.
And Lacy, of course.
Ben and Ryker were into the skate park.

Ugh, just seeing this again makes me cringe, but I had to post it because it was pretty eventful. Ryker found himself a "stick holder", kind of a handle for his sword, if you will.....ugh....Kara went to her car for hand sanitizer....luckily it was after we ate or we would have been leaving the park for a good scrubbing. Why the hell are they making tampons purple anyway? Is the fancy packaging really drawing people in to their product? It looks like a damn toy! Ugh. He asked me about it again a couple days later and then he wanted to know what it was and if he was going to get sick or something. At the time of "the incident" there was a lot of laughter and a lot of me being crazy and probably overreacting without much explanation other than to drop it. I guess I scared him a little. Poor kid probably thought he picked up a bomb.
Sanitized and back in the action. Notice Kya's stick is "stickholder" free? You don't need all that fancy stuff Ryker. Just poke your sister with good old fashioned sticks and leave the garbage on the ground.

Ben and Ryker are two peas in a pod, both going 100mph at all times. Ben is older so he has a bit of an advantage when it comes to thinking up cool and crazy things to do, but Ryker tries his best to keep up.
